Fun in Foster City with cityFEST

Foster City is the place to be as the “island of blue lagoons” kicks off its 45th Annual cityFest event  this weekend. Starting this evening  and running until Sunday, June 4, cityFEST offers food, music, beer, wine, arts and crafts. The event is located on Shell Boulevard from East Hillsdale Boulevard to Balclutha Drive. The festival, organized by the Foster City Chamber of Commerce, features more than 150 art vendors, as well as music from local bands Red Vinyl, Patron Latin Rhythms, 92South, Toree McGee and Pure Ecstasy. In addition, there will be a full carnival running until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until7 p.m. on Sunday. Attendees can catch the San Mateo-Mariners Island Caltrain shuttle from the Hillsdale Caltrain Station, or use SamTrans 251 or 256 to get to the good times.
