SamTrans to Run a Non-School Day Schedule for Presidents’ Day

SamTrans will operate a regular, non-school day schedule for the Presidents’ Day holiday, Monday, Feb. 17. Bus routes that primarily serve schools will not operate that Monday. All other routes and Ride Plus will operate their regular weekday schedule. 

The administrative offices of the San Mateo County Transit District, which manages SamTrans, will be open for the holiday. The Customer Service Center will operate with normal hours, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The San Mateo County Transit District operates 74 routes and two on-demand service areas. Funded in part by a half-cent sales tax, the district also provides administrative support for Caltrain and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. SamTrans has provided bus service to San Mateo County customers since 1976.
