On Saturday, December 4, a custom-decorated SamTrans holiday bus will make its 10th appearance in downtown Redwood City for the annual Hometown Holidays Festival & Parade. Festivities will take place, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Courthouse Square. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and ends at approximately 5:45 p.m. and for the first time, SamTrans will be decorating one of its 60-foot articulated buses.
In addition to a parade, this free, family-friendly holiday event will include live entertainment, carnival rides, photos with Santa in the History Museum, and a children’s carnival.
Attendees will also have a chance to enjoy Caltrain’s annual Holiday Train, which will arrive at the nearby Sequoia Caltrain Station at 6:10 p.m. where the holiday bus will be parked after the parade.
