SamTrans kicks off Pride month with colorful bus that celebrates both love and electricity
This June, SamTrans will participate in three local Pride parades — the most in the agency’s nearly 50-year history! SamTrans will show off its support for the LGBTQ+ community with a fully wrapped battery-electric bus, marchers, and branded Pride-themed swag items for those in attendance.
These are the events where you can see the newly wrapped bus in person and public transit routes to get you there:

June 8: San Mateo County Pride - Routes ECR, 250, 292

Note: There is no Caltrain service on June 8 or 9 as the system runs tests on new electric trains.

June 9: Half Moon Bay Pride - Routes 117, 294, Ride Plus

June 30: San Francisco Pride Parade - Caltrain, BART, or 292
The artwork theme on the Pride bus this year is, “Love, It’s Electrifying.” The slogan celebrates the message of love that’s promoted at the various local events as well as the agency’s transition to zero-emission vehicles.
This is the first year that SamTrans will have its rainbow colors on full display for the San Mateo County Pride Parade and Festival. It’s the agency’s second year participating in both Half Moon Bay’s and San Francisco’s Pride events.
