SamTrans will host two community meetings next week to discuss a transportation feasibility study for the Dumbarton Corridor.
The study will identify short- and long-term strategies for reducing traffic congestion and increasing mobility between Alameda, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties within the Dumbarton Corridor. It will examine potential congestion-relief alternatives for the Dumbarton Highway Bridge and its connecting roadways. It will also explore the possibilities of rehabilitation and repurposing of the Dumbarton Rail Bridge that is directly south of the Dumbarton Highway Bridge.
SamTrans will present information on existing conditions in the study area, as well as goals and initial alternatives that will be considered. Members of the public are welcome to provide input at two scheduled community meetings next week:
