In response to customer feedback and to enhance service reliability, SamTrans will implement several schedule changes for both weekday and weekend service starting this Sunday, Feb. 23.
The adjustments include revised departure and arrival times, schedule updates, and added trips to improve connections and on-time performance across multiple routes.
Key changes include:
- Route 12: Adjusted afternoon departure times and the discontinuation of service at the Clarendon/Francisco stop.
- Route 110: A new evening southbound trip from Daly City BART and a later morning departure from Linda Mar Park & Ride.
- Route 112: Later northbound departures to enhance transfers at Serramonte Center.
- Multiple routes (CSM, PCX, SKY, 120, 121, 122, 130, 130B, 250, 270, 280, 292, 296): Minor schedule adjustments to improve on-time performance.
- Route 281: New early morning weekend trips from Belle Haven Community Campus and Stanford Oval.
- Route 295: Updated detour for Cordilleras Health Campus, improving access to the facility.
- Route 296 OWL: Select weekend trips will be discontinued. Passengers affected by this change can use routes 281 or 296.
- SamTrans encourages riders to review the updated schedules available on the official website. These changes are designed to improve the overall transit experience for passengers throughout San Mateo County.

The San Mateo County Transit District operates 74 routes and two on-demand service areas. Funded in part by a half-cent sales tax, the district also provides administrative support for Caltrain and the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. SamTrans has provided bus service to San Mateo County customers since 1976.
