Overview:
The San Mateo County Transit District is recruiting for the Measure W Congestion Relief Plan Independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee (COC).
The COC is tasked with reviewing the administration of the Congestion Relief Plan to ensure tax proceeds are invested in a way that is consistent with the Plan.
As specified in Measure W, the role of the COC is to receive findings of an independent audit, hold a public hearing, and issue a report annually to provide San Mateo County residents with information regarding how tax proceeds are being spent.

Terms:
Terms will be three years for all new members.
Meetings:
Meetings occur on a quarterly basis, with the exact schedule to be determined. All meetings will be conducted in person at the San Mateo County Transit District, Bacciocco Auditorium, 2nd Floor, 1250 San Carlos Avenue, San Carlos, CA. Members of the public may attend in person or participate remotely via Zoom. All meetings will be publicly noticed and conducted in accordance with the Ralph M. Brown Act.
