Come catch some transit vibes this Saturday, August 17, between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Facebook Island Vibes Summer Celebration. This free event is open to the public and proceeds benefit environmental and sustainability causes.
We couldn’t think of a more perfect place to introduce attendees to our new, 100% battery-powered SamTrans electric bus. These buses are already pretty great, but what makes them even cooler are the USB charging capabilities. Kids can take part in a scavenger hunt inside the bus where they’ll learn about the features of the bus, figure out how to ride and receive SamTrans prizes in return for their participation. All attendees are welcome to come to the booth to get information about SamTrans, explore the new bus or to have any service questions answered. In addition to getting a chance to learn more about the bus in a fun environment, those who come to the festival can find live music, cultural dances, food trucks, a craft beer & wine garden and more!
