Summer Youth MyPass 2008

Introducing the SamTrans Summer Youth MyPass

Thousands of kids are getting a chance to travel all over San Mateo County thanks to what must be the biggest travel bargain on wheels – the SamTrans Summer My Pass. Kids 17 and younger are riding SamTrans all summer long for the low price of $35. That’s less than 40 cents a day.

With the increase in gas prices, the 2008 Summer My Pass is stretching family transportation budgets even further. A SamTrans MyPass gives kids freedom and flexibility to take the bus to their favorite destinations without needing to lean on someone for a ride. It’s a great way for young people to learn how to use public transportation, whether they’re getting to summer jobs or just riding for fun.

The Summer Youth Pass is valid through Aug. 31.

SamTrans Summer Youth My Pass Survey Ends

The SamTrans Summer Youth My Pass 2008 survey period is now over, and we appreciate all of our youth customers who took time to respond. More than 260 young people completed the survey, which was open from May 21 to July 15. We will be analyzing all the information we received to see how SamTrans can do a better job of serving our youth customers.

We are now compiling all the entry information and will soon be selecting the winners of the prizes that were available to those who completed the survey. Any one who fit the eligibility criteria and entered the contest onine or completed a printed survey could be chosen by random drawing to receive one of the prizes listed below.

Winners will be announced soon, and SamTrans will be contacting those who have won a prize. So keep checking this Web site for updates!
